We specialize in providing experiences that fit the school's curriculum. Our school camps are designed with classroom dynamics in mind, with the goal of promoting:
Camp challenges foster essential skills such as empathy, resilience, and collaboration, helping children step out of their comfort zone.
The camp strengthens the connection between peers, promoting a sense of community and belonging in a safe environment.
At Camp D&D, the safety of our campers is our top priority. To ensure this, we consider the following aspects:
🏕️ Espacio Seguro
🩺 Supervisión y Atención Médica
📞 Comunicación con los Padres
Campers sleep in tents according to age and gender, under adult supervision. They are an average of 6 children per tent. The tents are close to the bathrooms.
We can carry out the camps in various spaces, always following the established protocols. One of our favorite places is the "La Querencia" Farm in Lurin. This magical place allows our campers to disconnect from the routine and connect with nature in a safe environment.
During their stay at Camp D&D, campers follow our "Wellness Cycle". This methodology starts with awareness: campers explore who they are, who surrounds them, and how they interact with their world. On the first day, through camp songs, challenges and workshops, they are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone and see things from different perspectives.
Throughout living with their tribe, campers participate in various tasks, complete challenges and reflect on their "journal". In this way, they experience and value "appreciation," demonstrating gratitude to themselves and others. This value is celebrated on campfire night with our "Magic Moments" and fun activities such as karaoke or crazy hour.
Finally, the cycle concludes with the "Action" stage, where the campers set personal goals to continue empowering themselves, working on them during the closing workshops and group activities.
Our team is our most valuable resource, as they are responsible for making Camp D&D's mission possible. As such, each staff member goes through a rigorous selection process to join the team. All staff members are of legal age, undergo a background check and have a personal interview. In addition, guides, counselors and the logistics team must complete intensive training, updated according to International Camping Fellowship guidelines.
During this training, they are provided with all the necessary tools to understand and apply the Camp D&D methodology, as well as to be prepared to connect and provide the best possible care to each participant.
Some staff members come from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and the Universidad del Pacífico. We have agreements with these institutions to recruit students who meet the profile of the Camp D&D staff: committed, cooperative, dynamic, assertive and camp-spirited people.
We strive to provide our campers with a variety of delicious and nutritious options at every meal. We offer breakfast, lunch and lunch, as well as 2 daily snacks. We value and respect the dietary restrictions that some campers may have, which are informed to us by completing the Health Form.
